At Kora Living we believe that traveling can also be a way to take care of the environment. That is why this project was born with a clear idea: to reduce the environmental impact, make better use of resources and offer responsible accommodation without sacrificing comfort or design.

We are the largest wooden building in Southern Europe. A hotel built entirely in CLT structural wood, a solution that retains CO₂, improves energy efficiency and creates healthier spaces. Wood, efficiency and a building that thinks about its surroundings.

  • BREEAM SUSTAINABLE SEAL

    Kora Olea is BREEAM “Very Good” certified, one of the most demanding international seals in sustainability. We follow environmental, energy and social criteria that reduce our ecological footprint.

  • A BUILDING CONSTRUCTED IN WOOD

    Kora Olea is built with cross-laminated timber (CLT), an innovative system that reduces emissions to a minimum. Its certified radiata pine structure retains 3,500 tons of CO₂, making it one of the most sustainable buildings in southern Europe.

  • SOLAR ENERGY

    Kora Olea has two photovoltaic fields installed on the roof, with a total of 144 solar panels that produce clean energy for part of the building’s daily consumption.

  • AEROTHERMIA

    We use aerothermal energy for efficient and sustainable air conditioning. A system that takes advantage of air energy to reduce consumption and emissions.

  • ENERGY EFFICIENCY

    Kora Olea has an A energy rating, guaranteeing a building that consumes less and performs better. Natural ventilation, efficient air conditioning and solar protection maintain comfort at any time of the year. Wood provides natural insulation that improves the thermal sensation.

  • EFFICIENT LIGHTING

    They use energy-efficient LED lighting, designed to create warm and comfortable environments with minimum energy consumption.

  • RESPONSIBLE USE OF WATER

    The gardens of the complex are designed with native vegetation that does not require irrigation and we have a low water consumption sedum green cover. Sustainable landscaping that provides freshness and biodiversity without the need for water.

  • DIGITAL AND PAPERLESS MANAGEMENT

    We are committed to digital processes such as online check-in, on-screen information and electronic documentation. Less paper and more convenience for you.

  • CONSCIOUS AMENITIES

    Vegan, microplastic-free amenities and recyclable packaging make the experience more pleasant… and more responsible.

  • LOCAL AND KM0 SUPPLIERS

    We work with local businesses and producers, supporting the local fabric and reducing unnecessary travel. Gastronomy, materials and services with a Malaga flavor.

    At Kora Olea we have refill water fountains to avoid the use of single-use plastic bottles. We invite you to join us with small gestures that make each room more sustainable.

    We have Bike Parking, electric vehicle chargers and we encourage the use of public transport. Discovering Malaga without a car is easy, comfortable and part of our commitment.
